Finding solutions to today’s employment challenges.

CASE Certificate Programs are fully facilitated, in-depth learning offerings that typically last 5-8 weeks with the exception of the Digital Literacy Instructor program. Individual class sizes are kept small to foster a sense of community and provide for increased engagement with the instructor.

Our Supported Employment Essentials, Job Development and Solution-Focused Career Practitioner Certificate Programs involve asynchronous activities. This means that you can review the online learning content within a designated time (typically one week). The content includes constructive resources and assessments.

These programs also involve synchronous learning elements, such as participating in Zoom webinars, where you will have the opportunity to dive deeper into the modular content and receive feedback from experienced instructors. You can also engage in live discussions during the webinars or use discussion boards to connect with peers across Canada to further explore critical ideas in the field of supported employment.

The Digital Literacy Instructor Certificate Program is built on a train-the-trainer model and is 100% asynchronous, allowing you to complete the content within a 3-month period. This program offers lesson plans for instructors, resource guides, videos, and downloadable resources to prepare a learner to instruct their own program on the CASE learning portal.

Upon completion of any CASE Certificate Program, you will receive micro-credentials that verify your participation in the program and outline the targeted knowledge, skills and/or competencies addressed.

Supported Employment Essentials

Support, Strategies, and Solutions

This program offers an enhanced understanding of supported employment. It explores the guiding principles of supported employment, relevant legislation, the strengths-based approach, and other best practices to enhance your employment services.

Job Development

Creating Opportunities and Connections.

This program focuses on enhancing critical communication and marketing skills that will help job developers connect job seekers with inclusive employers, develop meaningful job opportunities, and find solutions to business concerns.

Digital Literacy Training

Evolve with the Technology.

CASE offers two Digital Literacy certificate programs, one for instructors and one for job seekers. Both programs are designed to help employment professionals support job seekers in increasing their digital knowledge, managing their online presence, and using the Internet and social media for employment purposes.

The Solution-Focused Career Practitioner

Deeper Understanding. Better Solutions.

This training program fosters a foundational understanding of the solution-focused approach to career development. It equips career practitioners to apply a signature framework of tools and techniques to help job seekers achieve their career goals.
